Pandit Ronu is a Trend setter, a style maker & responsible for popularizing flute all across the Globe of his era. He has been felicitated with many renowned awards over the years, ‘All India Radio Award was his first recognition, Aditya Vikram Birla Award in the year 1999, Sangeet Natak Academy Award 2014 & Lifetime Achievement Award by Navbharat Times in the hands of Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri. Devendra Phadnavis, National Kumar Gandharva Award in the year 2006, and Pandit Jasraj Gaurav Puraskar in the year 2008

India’s top ranking flautist needs no introduction. Pandit Ronu Majumdar musical strings have delivered solace to the ears of many. He has worked with musical legends, namely Gulzar Sahab, R. D Burman, Vishal Bhardwaj, Baaba Maal, Asha Bhosle, and Khayyam. He has worked on Pt. Ravi Shankar Ji’s album ‘Chants of India’. His recordings for ‘In Custody’ a merchant ivory film was done along with Zakir Hussain and Ustad Sultan Khan in the year 1994. Ronuji also featured in ‘Remembrance’ in Trilok Gurtu’s Universal Record CD alongside Shankar Mahadevan and Shobha Gurtu

Hrishikesh Majumdar is a very talented and a proficient young flute artist and prodigy. He has been learning from his father and guru, legendary Pt RONU MAJUMDAR from a tender age of 6 years. He has taken his vocal training from his mother Mrs. ANANDI BULA MAJUMDAR. Later on, he has learnt the intricacies of vocal training under the guidance of Guru Pandit VIKAS KASHALKAR.

Hrishikesh represents the Maihar Gharana Binkaari style like his father and performs in Dhrupad style alaap, Jod Jhaala and Ghatkari style and is equally trying his skills in Thumri, Dadra and folk music.

Hrishikesh has completed his Masters in Music from BHARATI VIDYAPEETH UNIVERSITY. He won first prize in India level in SWAR SADHANA SAMITI for Instrumental Music. His jugalbandi with his father in Goa Fest 2019 had become a rage.

He has been very fortunate to have performed with some of the foremost musicians like Ustad Taufiq Qureshi, Vidushi Bombay Jayashri, Vidwan Rajhesh Vaidya, Vidushi Anuradha Pal, Vidushi Aruna Sairam, Vijay Prakash Ji, and many others to name a few.

Shri Subhajyoti Guha, a highly talented young tabla player from Kolkata, India. Coming from an educated and musical family, Subhajyoti was introduced to tabla at an early age of five by his father Dr. Smriti Ranjan Guha, a disciple of late Ustad Keramatullah Khan of Farukkabad Gharana.

Few years later the internationally acclaimed tabla maestro and trainer Pandit Sankha Chatterjee, also a disciple of late Ustad Keramatullah Khan and late Ustad Allarakha Khan of Punjab Gharana, took Subhajyoti under his tutorship and Subhajyoti has been the disciple and under tutelage of Pandit Sankha Chatterjee since 1983.

Namely, THE PRESIDENT'S AWARD from ALL INDIA RADIO in 1989, THE DOVER LANE TALENT SEARCH AWARD in 1990-91, THE HIRENDRA KUMAR GANGULY AWARD , from WEST BENGAL STATE ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS, in 1993, TAAL MANI AWARD from SUR SRINGAR SAMSAD of mumbai in 1996, degree of SANGEET VISHARAD from PRACHEEN KALA KENDRA of CHANDIGARH in 1997 and JADU BHATTA AWARD from SALT LAKE CULTURAL ASSOCIATION in 2007. At present he is a grade 'A' tabla player of All India Radio & T.V.
