Siddhartha Belmannu is a young talented musician hailing from Karkala in Udupi district of Karnataka. Born on 2nd October 1996 into the music loving family of mother Usha and father Prasad.Belmannu who recognised early on that he was endowed with a giftedvoice, fluent in 3 octaves. Discerning his musical talent, his parents,without further delay enrolled him for initial training in Carnatic Classical Music. Later, he was exposed to Hindustani Classical Music and continued his studies under the tutelage of Sri P R Manjunath, a well known Hindustani musician.

At a very young age Siddhartha had already demonstrated tremendous progress and yearned to become a full fledged performing artist in the days to come. Later Master Siddhartha’s good fortune brought him for training under the legendary musician, Pandit Vinayak Torvi ji, Doyen of Gwalior and Kirana Gharana where he is undergoing vigorous training in the Gurukul system from the past 8 years.

From the age of 19, Siddhartha has been performing all across the country on many prestigious platforms. He has also been touring with his Guru Pt.Vinayak Torvi in India as well in the U.S and othercountries, gaining invaluable concert experience and performing techniques.

Siddhartha has also been performing Jugalbandi with various Hindustani and Carnatic vocalists and instrumentalists. He has worked with The Grammy Winning composer Ricky Kej for many of his live concerts and projects on environmental awareness. He has performed Indian classical fusions with various artistes. Siddhartha also excels in light music such as Marathi Abhangs, Kannada Devarnaama and Vachanaas.

While Classical Hindustani Music is his core, Siddhartha also enjoys playback singing and has sung for many movies.

Prasad Kamath

Prasad Kamath

Prasad Kamath is the son of Jayashree and Prakash Kamath. Born into a family where devotional music was an integral part of daily life, his musical journey began at the tender age of 7 under the guidance of Vidwan Mahabhaleshwar Bhagwath. Over the years, Prasad has honed his skills under the tutelage of the renowned Harmonium Maestro and composer, Sri Sudhir Nayak. This training not only gave him a fresh musical perspective but also enriched his understanding of the harmonium, deepening his ability to express musical intricacies with finesse.

Prasad is also an active member of Kala Coast, an organization working tirelessly to empower artists and celebrate the diversity of the arts across various parts of the country. He is spreading his love for music by passing on the knowledge he received from his Guru Parampara to numerous students in the small cities of Udupi and Mangalore, where Hindustani music has begun to play a significant role in the cultural ethos.

Academically, Prasad holds a B-Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka. After working with Reliance Industries for three years, he is now based in his hometown, Udupi, where he is pursuing his passion with dedication.

Prasad is also widely acknowledged for his sensitive accompaniment to Raag Sangeet, as well as his creative dynamism in semi-classical forms such as Thumri, Dadra, Bhajans, and more. With over 15 years of experience in accompanying musicians, Prasad considers his greatest achievement to be the blessings he has received from and the opportunity to accompany senior vocalists like Pt. Sajan Mishra, Pt. Vinayak Torvi, Pt. Indudhar Nirody, Pt. Ram Deshpande, Pt. Shaunak Abhisheki, Pt. Ritesh Mishra, Pt. Jayateerth Mevundi, Pt. Upendra Bhat, Pt. Milind Chittal, and Vidushi Apoorva Gokhale, among others.

He has also had the privilege of accompanying the younger generation of musicians, such as Dhananjay Hegde, Siddharth Belmannu, Aniruddh Aithal, Ramakant Gayakwad, Rutuja Lad, Priya Purushottaman, and many others.

Roopak Kallurkar

Roopak Kallurkar

Roopak Kallurkar began his musical journey at the tender age of 3 under the expert guidance of his guru and father, Pt. Rajagopal Kallurkar, a renowned tabla maestro. Born into a distinguished musical family, Roopak was immersed in the world of music from an early age. His mother, Smt. Vijayalaxmi Kallurkar, is a celebrated Hindustani classical vocalist, while his father shaped his tabla skills, training him in the Farukhabad Gharana and many more.

Roopak’s early dedication and talent were quickly recognized, leading him to become a “B High” graded artist with All India Radio, a significant milestone in his career. He is also the recipient of the CCRT scholarship from the Government of India, a prestigious recognition of his talent. Furthermore, he has successfully completed the Alankaar exams conducted by the Akhila Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, solidifying his mastery in tabla performance. He has also trained under renowned Carnatic percussionist Vid Kulloor Jayachandra Rao, to master the intricate Carnatic rhythm patterns, which he skill-fully incorporates into his Hindustani tabla playing, creating a seamless fusion of both traditions.

Some of his notable performances have been at the Sankat Mochan Festival, Sangeet Natak Academy, Gururao Deshpande Sangeet Sabha, World Jazz Festival, Banyan Tree Festival, BKF, Satpak, Ekatvam, and more. His performances have been celebrated for their technical brilliance and creativity, establishing him as one of the most respected solo tabla artists of his generation.
